Brian studied Economics and Industrial Psychology at Stellenbosch University and graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree in 1986.
Brian has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry with the last fifteen of those being in the role of independent local and offshore investment advisor.
After graduating, Brian worked in the Personnel division at the Old Mutual head office in Pinelands for three years after which he became production manager for the Boland region at Old Mutual Unit Trusts until 1989.
Thereafter he took up the post of Broker Consultant at Liberty Life in Cape Town until 1995 and he then left to join Syfrets Private Bank in Cape Town to become the International Investment Consultant for the Western Cape until the establishment of his investment consultancy in 1999.
In 2011 Wayne Hill approached Brian about joining Intasure & he joined just after Mary-Anne and became a fellow director with her.

Mary-Anne Watkins has more than 40 years experience in the financial services industry. She started her career with Liberty Life as secretary to the new business manager in 1977 and when she left Liberty eleven years later, she had spent several years in the marketing department as a broker consultant. She was approached by First National Bank to join the group as a financial planner, which she did and spent 24 years with FNB at various of their retail branches in the southern suburbs.
In 2010 she was approached by Wayne Hill to join Intasure, which she duly did the following year. Mary-Anne is now one of the directors, together with Brian.
Mary-Anne is a CFP® professional. Her commitment and dedication to client service and her ethical and honest approach, has rewarded her with many satisfied and loyal clients.
